I am Kateknows or Kate: an interdisciplinary artist based in New York that knows about art and its magic of connecting people. 

Painting is my life passion, and I try to combine it with fashion and art objects. Everything you see on this website results from my hand drawings and oil paintings that are adapted to become patterns and works on fabric. 

The idea to create my fashion line started with me making unique presents for my fun enthusiastic friends who love active life style. I wanted them to look outstanding during yoga classes, ski trips, rave parties,mountain hikes, and beach mingles.

It started growing beyond my friend's group, and I decided to share my love for beautiful patterns with the rest of the world.
